Ingredients for Angel Hair Chicken
- 8 ounces angel hair pasta
- Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- Olive Oil
- Baby Carrots
- Broccoli
- Garlic Cloves
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Chicken Broth
How to Make Angel Hair Chicken
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the same skillet. Add 1 cup of chopped carrots and cook for 4 minutes, until slightly softened.
- Add 1 cup of broccoli florets and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Cook for 2 minutes, until fragrant and slightly tender.
- Pour in 1/2 cup of chicken broth and 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley.
- Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet. Stir in 8 ounces of angel hair pasta and toss to combine. Cook until pasta is heated through, about 1-2 minutes.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor
Chef's secret: layers of flavor make a dish truly memorable! Consider what a little extra something could bring – perhaps a touch of acidity like a good vinegar or citrus zest, a hint of smokiness from paprika, a bit of umami from mushrooms or soy sauce, or a sprinkle of toasted nuts for texture. Experiment and taste as you go!
