How to Make Anything Goes Deviled Eggs

  1. Hard-boil 6 large eggs. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water by about an inch. Bring to a rolling boil, then remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 10 minutes. Drain hot water and run cold water over eggs until completely cool. Add ice cubes to the bowl to speed up the cooling process.
  2. While eggs cool, cook 4 slices bacon until crispy. Remove bacon from pan and crumble into small pieces.
  3. Cook a 4-ounce salmon steak until cooked through. Flake salmon and remove any skin or bones.
  4. Gently peel and halve the cooled hard-boiled eggs. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a medium bowl.
  5. Add the crumbled bacon (approx. 1/4 cup), flaked salmon (approx 1/2 cup), and 1/4 cup crabmeat to the bowl with the egg yolks.
  6. Add 1/4 cup Miracle Whip (or mayonnaise), 1 tablespoon sweet relish, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to the bowl.
  7. Mash the mixture thoroughly with a fork until well combined.
  8. Spoon the filling into the egg white halves.
  9. Sprinkle with paprika.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld and the eggs to chill thoroughly before serving.
