- Asparagus Spears
- 8-10 slices bacon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
How to Make Asparagus Bundles Or Green Bean Bundles
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the bundles: Wrap approximately 5 asparagus spears or green beans with ½ slice of bacon per bundle. Secure each bundle with a toothpick.
- Place the bundles in a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish.
- In a small saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in ¼ cup packed light brown sugar and cook for another 4 minutes, until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is slightly caramelized.
- Pour the garlic-brown sugar butter sauce evenly over the asparagus or green bean bundles.
- Bake for 25 minutes at 375°F (190°C), or 35 minutes at 350°F (175°C), or until the bacon is crispy and the vegetables are tender.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Remove toothpicks before serving.
