How to Make Authentic Puerto Rican Rice And Beans
- Cook white rice according to package directions. Once cooked, drain off any excess water.
- In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil over low-medium heat. Add diced ham (or salted pork/Canadian bacon).
- Once the ham begins to sizzle, add garlic powder and adobo seasoning. Stir to combine.
