- 10-12 small flour tortillas (6-inch diameter)

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

How to Make Aztec Lasagna
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown 1 lb of ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- In the same skillet, stir in 1 cup of salsa, 1 (28 ounce) can of tomato sauce, and 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning.
- Simmer the meat mixture for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 large eggs, 1 (15 ounce) container of cottage cheese, and 1 teaspoon of dried oregano.
- Lightly grease a 13x9 inch baking dish. Arrange half of the tortillas in the bottom of the dish, slightly overlapping the edges.
- Spread half of the meat mixture evenly over the tortillas.
- Spoon the cottage cheese mixture over the meat.
- Layer the remaining tortillas over the cottage cheese mixture.
- Spread the remaining meat mixture over the top layer of tortillas.
- Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheese evenly over the entire casserole.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and golden brown.
