- Onion Bagels
- Cooked Bacon
- American Cheese
How to Make Bacon Bagel Cheese Sandwich
- Cook bacon in the microwave according to package directions, or cook in a pan until crispy. Set aside.
- If using sausage, cook according to package directions. Set aside.
- Toast the bagel to your desired level of crispness.
- Spread softened butter evenly on both halves of the toasted bagel.
- Add your choice of cooked bacon and/or sausage to the bottom half of the bagel.
- If using, spread mustard on top of the meat.
- Place cheese slices on top of the meat.
- Carefully place the top half of the bagel on to complete the sandwich.
- Microwave for 30-45 seconds, or until the cheese is melted and gooey. Alternatively, you can gently heat the whole sandwich in a toaster oven for 2-3 minutes.
- Cut the sandwich in half and enjoy immediately!
