How to Make Balsamic Tortellini
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add 1/2 cup chopped onion and 4 slices of bacon, cooked until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
- Remove bacon and onion from skillet; set aside and drain on paper towels.
- Cook 1 pound of cheese tortellini according to package directions.
- Return the cooked onion and bacon to the skillet. Add the cooked tortellini.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Toss to combine.
- Serve immediately and garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh basil (optional).
