How to Make Barbecued Baby Back Ribs
- Place ribs in a large pot and cover with enough water to completely submerge them.
- Bring the water to a rolling boil. Reduce heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 1 hour, or until the ribs are fork-tender.
- While the ribs are simmering, prepare the BBQ sauce. In a medium saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients (see below).
- Bring the sauce to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low, and simmer uncovered, stirring frequently, for 30 minutes, or until the sauce has slightly thickened to your desired consistency.
- Preheat your broiler.
- Line a broiler pan with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- Place the ribs, meat-side down, on the broiler pan rack. Brush generously with the BBQ sauce.
- Broil the ribs 4-5 inches from the heat source for 6-7 minutes.
- Flip the ribs, brush with the remaining sauce, and broil for another 6-7 minutes, or until the edges are slightly charred and the sauce is caramelized.
