How to Make Basil Shrimp And Feta Pasta
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add 2 cloves minced garlic and 1 pound of shrimp. Sauté until the shrimp turn bright pink/orange, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in 1/2 cup dry white wine and 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice. Stir in 1 (14.5 ounce) can of diced tomatoes, undrained.
- Add 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, and 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or more, to taste).
- Simmer for 2 minutes, then gently stir in 4 ounces crumbled feta cheese.
