How to Make Beef For Tacos
- Place 1.5 lbs of sliced beef strips (about 1/4 inch thick) in a medium saucepan.
- Cut 1 large onion and 4 cloves of garlic into quarters.
- Add the quartered onion and garlic to the beef in the saucepan.
- Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 cup of water.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer gently for 1 - 1 1/2 hours, or until the beef is very tender. Stir occasionally.
- Serve the shredded beef in warm soft tortillas with your favorite toppings, such as our Aztec Guacamole and salsa.
