How to Make Crab Stuffed Fish Fillets

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium skillet, sauté 2 stalks celery (finely chopped), 2 green onions (finely chopped), and 2 cloves garlic (minced) in 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat until softened (about 5 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup lump crab meat, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
  4. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter.
  5. Brush 4 (6-ounce) fish fillets with melted butter.
  6. Spoon 1 heaping tablespoon of the crab mixture onto one half of each fillet.
  7. Fold the other half of the fillet over the crab mixture.
  8. Place the stuffed fillets in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  9. Spoon the remaining crab mixture over the fillets and drizzle with the remaining melted butter.
  10. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  11. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
