How to Make Crock Pot Roasted Garlic

  1. Preheat your crock-pot to low.
  2. Cut off the top 1/4 inch of each head of garlic to expose the cloves.
  3. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the 6 heads of garlic.
  4. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper over the garlic heads.
  5. Wrap each head of garlic individually in a small square of aluminum foil.
  6. Place the foil-wrapped garlic heads in the crock-pot.
  7. Cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4 hours, until the garlic is soft and caramelized.
  8. Once cooked, let the garlic cool slightly. Gently squeeze the roasted cloves out of their skins and discard the skins.
