How to Make Amazing Cranberry Sauce

  1. Drain the juice from one can of pineapple and mandarin orange segments. Reserve the fruit segments.
  2. Measure 1 cup of the canned fruit juice. (You will not use water.)
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine the 1 cup of fruit juice and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Add 12 ounces of fresh cranberries to the saucepan and bring the mixture back to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon cloves, 1/4 teaspoon ginger, and 1/8 teaspoon allspice.

  8. Gently fold in the reserved pineapple and mandarin orange segments.
