How to Make Apple Brie Omelet

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large sauté pan over medium heat.
  2. Add 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced, to the pan. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, until softened and lightly caramelized.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together 3 large eggs, 2 tablespoons of heavy cream or milk, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and a pinch of black pepper until light and frothy.
  4. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in an 8-inch nonstick omelet pan over medium-high heat. The pan is ready when the butter foams and just begins to brown.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the hot pan. Let it cook undisturbed for about 30 seconds, until the edges begin to set.
  6. Gently push the cooked edges toward the center with a spatula, tilting the pan to allow uncooked egg to flow underneath. Repeat until most of the egg is set but the top is still slightly wet.
