How to Make Aromatic Stewed Mushrooms
- Slice 1 pound of portobello mushrooms fairly thickly (about 1/2 inch thick).
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
- Add 2 cloves of minced garlic to the pan and cook for about 2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften and release their juices.
- Season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Stir in 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley.
- Continue cooking for another 5 minutes, allowing the mushrooms to brown slightly and the flavors to meld. Serve immediately and enjoy!
