- Canned Artichoke Hearts
- 6 tablespoons (3 ounces) butter
- 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
- Garlic Clove
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
How to Make Artichoke Blue Cheese Butter
- Drain one 14-ounce can of artichoke hearts. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the artichoke hearts and fry until some leaves are lightly browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a separate saucepan, melt the remaining 4 tablespoons of butter. Add 1 finely chopped shallot and cook for 2 minutes. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and cook for another minute. Stir in 4 ounces of crumbled blue cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the juice of 1/4 lime to the blue cheese butter sauce and mix well. Add the fried artichoke hearts and gently toss to coat.
