Ingredients for Asian Pork Chicken Noodle Skillet Pampered Chef

  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • Red Bell Pepper
  • Green Onions With Tops
  • Pork Tenderloin
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Asian Seasoning
  • Oriental Flavor Instant Ramen Noodles
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cups water

How to Make Asian Pork Chicken Noodle Skillet Pampered Chef

  1. In a large bowl, combine 1 lb ground pork, 1 lb ground chicken, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 2 tbsp Asian seasoning mix, and the seasoning packets from 2 packages of instant ramen noodles (discard flavor oil packets). Mix well.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add half of the meat mixture to the skillet. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes, or until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Repeat with the remaining meat mixture.
  5. Add 1 cup chopped carrots and 1 cup chopped bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
  6. Pour in 2 cups of water and add the remaining ramen seasoning packets. Stir to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  7. Add 8 oz instant ramen noodles (broken into smaller pieces) and the white parts of 2 green onions (thinly sliced) to the skillet.
  8. Cover the skillet and simmer for 4-5 minutes, or until the noodles are softened.
  9. Add the cooked meat back to the skillet.
  10. Remove the skillet from the heat and let stand, covered, for 3-4 minutes.
  11. Garnish with the green onion tops (thinly sliced) before serving.

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Chef's secret: layers of flavor make a dish truly memorable! Consider what a little extra something could bring – perhaps a touch of acidity like a good vinegar or citrus zest, a hint of smokiness from paprika, a bit of umami from mushrooms or soy sauce, or a sprinkle of toasted nuts for texture. Experiment and taste as you go!
