How to Make Banana Pudding Quick Easy Low Fat

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix, 1 ½ cups of skim milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and ¼ cup sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Slice 3 ripe bananas and gently toss with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to prevent browning.
  3. Layer the pudding mixture, sliced bananas and crushed Nilla Wafers (about 10-12) in a medium to large sized bowl or trifle dish. Start with a layer of crushed wafers, then pudding, followed by bananas.
  4. Repeat layers two more times, ending with a layer of crushed wafers.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining crushed Nilla Wafers on top as a garnish.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow flavors to meld and the pudding to set completely before serving.

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Small additions can make a big impact! Try a sprinkle of fresh herbs, a dash of your favorite spice blend, or a squeeze of citrus just before serving to really enhance the flavors of your dish.
