How to Make Apple Baked Beans
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 1 ½-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the baked beans, apple cider, brown sugar, molasses, mustard, apple, onion, and bacon grease. Mix thoroughly.
- Pour the bean mixture into the prepared baking dish. Arrange the bacon strips evenly over the top.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for a further 5-10 minutes, or until the beans are bubbly and the bacon is crispy.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
