How to Make Bbq Chicken Packets

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C) or preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Divide 4 (6-ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breasts evenly among 4 large sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  3. Spoon 2 tablespoons of your favorite BBQ sauce over each chicken breast. Top with 1/2 cup of your favorite chopped vegetables (onions, peppers, zucchini, etc.).
  4. Bring the foil up the sides of the chicken and vegetables, creating a loose pouch.
  5. Double fold the top and ends of the foil to create a tight seal, leaving a little space at the top for steam to escape.
  6. Place packets on a baking sheet and bake for 18-22 minutes, or grill for 12-15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Carefully remove packets from the oven or grill. Let stand for 5 minutes before opening to allow juices to redistribute. Serve immediately.
