How to Make Fruit Vodka Slush

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves completely. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let the sugar syrup cool completely.
  3. In a blender, combine 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice, 1 cup lemonade, 1/2 cup orange juice, and 2 ripe bananas (mashed). Blend until smooth.
  4. Add the cooled sugar syrup to the blender. Then, add the remaining 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice and 1 1/2 cups vodka. Blend until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
  6. Freeze for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight, until solid.
  7. To serve, scoop the frozen slush into glasses. Top with 7-Up or ginger ale and garnish with fresh fruit, if desired.
