How to Make Goetta

  1. In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil. Add 2 cups of steel-cut oats, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
