How to Make Sangria Tea
- Boil 8 cups of water in a kettle.
- Place 4 black tea bags (or your preferred tea type) in a large heat-safe pitcher.
- Pour the boiling water over the tea bags. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and stir in 1 cup of sugar (or to taste). Allow to cool completely.
- While tea cools, prepare the fruit: Chop 1 orange into slices, 1 lemon into slices, and 1/2 cup of strawberries into halves.
- In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea, 1 cup orange juice, 1/2 cup brandy (optional), chopped orange slices, lemon slices, and strawberries. Gently stir to combine.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
- Just before serving, pour the Sangria Tea into a punch bowl filled with ice. Add a splash of club soda to each serving and garnish with additional fruit slices.
