Ingredients for 3 Potato Grill Packet
- Sweet Potato
- Yellow Potatoes
- White Potato
- Red Potatoes
- Onion
- Fresh Parsley
- Dried Basil Leaves
- Garlic Pepper Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
How to Make 3 Potato Grill Packet
- Preheat your grill to medium heat. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- In a large bowl, combine the cubed potatoes, sliced red onion, chopped bell pepper, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to coat all the vegetables evenly.
- Tear off a 12x24 inch sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Lightly grease the foil with cooking spray or olive oil.
- Place the potato mixture in the center of the foil, leaving about 3 inches of space on each side.
- Dot the potato mixture with the small pieces of butter.
- Carefully fold the foil over to create a sealed packet, crimping the edges tightly to prevent any leakage during grilling. Leave a little space at the top for steam to escape.
- Place the foil packet on the preheated grill.
- Grill for 35-40 minutes, turning the packet over halfway through, until the potatoes are tender and cooked through. You may need to adjust grilling time depending on your grill and desired level of doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let stand for 5-10 minutes before carefully opening the packet. (Be cautious of steam!)
- Season with additional salt and pepper to taste before serving. Enjoy!
Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor
Small additions can make a big impact! Try a sprinkle of fresh herbs, a dash of your favorite spice blend, or a squeeze of citrus just before serving to really enhance the flavors of your dish.
