Ingredients for Angels Easy Breakfast Burritos

  • Soft Taco Size Flour Tortillas
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite blend)
  • Jimmy Dean Sausage
  • Frozen Tater Tots
  • Salsa (for serving)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Cooking spray

How to Make Angels Easy Breakfast Burritos

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) as directed on the tater tot package.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  3. Spread the tater tots in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  4. Bake according to package directions until golden brown and crispy. Set aside to cool completely.
  5. While the tater tots are baking, brown the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until cooked through.
  6. Drain off any excess grease and set aside to cool completely.
  7. In the same skillet, scramble the eggs until cooked to your liking. Set aside to cool completely.
  8. Once the tater tots, sausage, and eggs are completely cooled, you can begin assembling the burritos.
  9. Lay out a large flour tortilla. Add 1/4 cup of cooked sausage, 1/3 cup of scrambled eggs, 1/4 cup of shredded cheese, and 1/4 cup of tater tots to the center of each tortilla.
  10. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
  11. Repeat steps 9 and 10 until all the ingredients are used.
  12. Wrap each burrito individually in plastic wrap.
  13. Place the wrapped burritos in a freezer-safe plastic bag.
  14. Freeze until ready to use (up to 3 months).
  15. To reheat, microwave individual burritos for 2-3 minutes, or until heated through. Serve with your favorite salsa.

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Small additions can make a big impact! Try a sprinkle of fresh herbs, a dash of your favorite spice blend, or a squeeze of citrus just before serving to really enhance the flavors of your dish.
