  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk

How to Make Another Leftover Ham Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Peel and thinly slice 2 lbs potatoes. Layer half of the potatoes in the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish.
  3. Top the potatoes with 2 cups of diced leftover ham.
  4. Sprinkle 1/4 cup all-purpose flour evenly over the ham.
  5. Repeat layers: potatoes, ham, flour.
  6. Top with remaining potatoes and sprinkle with another 1/4 cup flour.
  7. Dot the top with 4 tablespoons of butter, cut into small pieces.
  8. Pour 2 cups of milk evenly over the casserole.
  9. Season generously with black pepper to taste.
  10. Bake for 75 minutes, or until potatoes are fork-tender.
  11. In the last 10 minutes of baking, sprinkle 1 cup crushed potato chips or bread crumbs over the top for added crunch.
