  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • Vermicelli
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How to Make Arabian Rice Aroz Mofalfal

  1. Break 1/2 cup of vermicelli noodles into small pieces.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the vermicelli noodles and fry until lightly golden brown, stirring frequently (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Pour in 1 1/2 cups of boiling water and stir in 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  5. Gently stir in 1 cup of rinsed long-grain rice (Basmati recommended).
  6. Bring the mixture back to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
