- Jasmine Rice

How to Make Aromatic Sticky Rice
- Rinse 1 cup of glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, 1 ½ cups of water, 1 stalk lemongrass (bruised), 1 pandan leaf (torn into pieces), and ½ teaspoon salt.
- Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes to allow the rice to absorb the flavors and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, uncovered.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to the lowest setting, cover the pan tightly, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked through. Do not lift the lid during cooking.
