How to Make Authentic Tacos
- In a large skillet, brown 1 lb ground beef over medium-high heat. Add 1 tsp garlic salt and cook until browned, then drain off any excess grease.
- Heat a large griddle or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Lightly brush both sides of 12 corn or flour tortillas with extra virgin olive oil.
- Warm tortillas on the hot griddle for about 30 seconds per side, or until lightly browned and still flexible. Set aside and keep warm.
- Drain tortillas on paper towels to remove excess oil.
