- Flat Leaf Parsley
- Habanero Sauce
- Worcestershire Sauce

- 1-2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and diced
- 1 ripe avocado (about 1 medium)
How to Make Avocado Grilling Butter
- Cut 1 cup (2 sticks) of softened butter into small squares.
- Peel and seed 1 ripe avocado (about 1 medium) and cut into small pieces.
- Mash the butter and avocado together in a medium mixing bowl.
- Finely seed and dice 1-2 jalapeño peppers (adjust to your spice preference).
- Add the diced jalapeño, 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro, 2 cloves minced garlic, and 1/2 teaspoon lime zest to the bowl. Mix well to combine.
- Line a small loaf pan (approximately 5x3 inches) with plastic wrap, leaving some overhang on the sides.
- Spoon the avocado butter mixture into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
- Fold the plastic wrap over the top of the butter and press firmly to shape into a log.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- To use, slice a pat of the avocado butter and melt it over your favorite grilled meats during the last minute of cooking. Or, add a slice on top of resting meat to let it melt.
- For garlic bread, spread the butter on toasted French bread, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and broil for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.
Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor
Chef's secret: layers of flavor make a dish truly memorable! Consider what a little extra something could bring – perhaps a touch of acidity like a good vinegar or citrus zest, a hint of smokiness from paprika, a bit of umami from mushrooms or soy sauce, or a sprinkle of toasted nuts for texture. Experiment and taste as you go!
