How to Make Barbecue Chicken With Maple Syrup

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cup ketchup, ½ cup maple syrup, 1 tablespoon liquid smoke, 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon black pepper.
  3. Add 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs to the bowl and toss to coat completely.
