How to Make Creole Tacos
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown 1 lb of ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in 6 oz of Creole seasoning blend (or your homemade blend).
- In a small bowl, dissolve 2 beef bouillon cubes in 1/2 cup of warm water in the microwave. Slowly add the 1 tsp of cumin and stir until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Add the bouillon mixture to the ground meat. Simmer until the meat is slightly wet and the flavors have melded (about 5 minutes).
- Reduce heat to low and keep the meat warm.
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C). Place taco shells in the oven for 2 minutes to warm them.
- Fill each taco shell about halfway with the Creole seasoned meat.
- Drizzle 1-2 tsp of your favorite salsa over the meat. Sprinkle lightly with grated green bell pepper, add shredded lettuce, cheese, and diced tomato.
- Serve immediately with napkins! Enjoy your delicious and messy Creole Tacos!
