How to Make Puerto Rican Beans And Rice

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of red kidney beans (or your preferred beans), 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper, 1 teaspoon adobo seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/4 teaspoon oregano, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
