- Arrange 4 tortillas in the bottom of the baker, slightly overlapping.
- In a large skillet, brown 1 lb of ground beef over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, or until no longer pink. Break the beef into small crumbles as it cooks.
- Drain off any excess grease.
- Add 1 ounce of taco seasoning mix and water as directed on the package. Cook according to package directions.
- Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of salsa.
- Evenly spoon the hamburger mixture over the tortillas in the baker.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese over the hamburger mixture.
- Sprinkle half of the chopped green onions over the cheese.
- Top with the remaining 4 tortillas, slightly overlapping, and press down gently.
- Spread the remaining 1 cup of salsa over the top tortillas.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese and green onions over the salsa.
- Bake for 28-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes before cutting into wedges.
- Serve immediately with shredded lettuce and sour cream.
