How to Make All American Tuna Sandwiches
- Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C).
- In a medium bowl, gently combine 2 (5 ounce) cans tuna, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup chopped celery, 1/4 cup chopped red onion (optional), 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper (optional), 1/4 cup sliced ripe olives (optional), 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
- Lightly toast 4 hot dog buns or hamburger buns.
- Spoon the tuna salad generously onto the bottom halves of the toasted buns.
