How to Make Anytime Cheesy Potatoes

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine 4 cups frozen shredded hash browns, 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter, 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cheddar cheese soup, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 3-quart casserole dish.
