How to Make Apple Butter Country Ribs

  1. Place ribs in a large Dutch oven.
  2. Add enough water to completely cover the ribs.
  3. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes, or until ribs are tender.
  5. Remove ribs from Dutch oven and drain well.
  6. Pat ribs dry with paper towels.
  7. Sprinkle ribs generously with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
