How to Make Apple Spiced Rice
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1 ½ cups water and ½ cup apple juice.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Stir in 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice, ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg, ¼ teaspoon ground allspice, and 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and diced.
- Add 2 cinnamon sticks (approximately 4 inches long).
