  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 6 medium apples (such as Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or a mix), peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Lemon Juice
  • Egg

How to Make Apple Strips

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and cold butter. Cut the butter into the flour mixture using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in the Greek yogurt until just combined. Add more Greek yogurt, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough is pliable but not sticky.

  10. Transfer the strips to a baking sheet.
  11. Bake for 75 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
