How to Make Apple Strips
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and cold butter. Cut the butter into the flour mixture using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the Greek yogurt until just combined. Add more Greek yogurt, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough is pliable but not sticky.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough between two sheets of waxed paper to about 1/8 inch thickness.
- Peel off the top sheet of waxed paper.
- Spread the apple filling evenly over the dough.
- Lay the other sheet of waxed paper on top, then carefully flip the dough over.
- Peel off the remaining waxed paper.
- Cut the dough into strips (approximately 1-inch wide).
- Transfer the strips to a baking sheet.
- Bake for 75 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
