- 6 slices bacon

How to Make Avocado B L T Salad
- Cook 6 slices of bacon until crisp. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
- In a medium bowl, mash 1 ripe avocado with 1 tablespoon lime juice, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Wash and dry 5 cups of mixed greens (e.g., romaine, spinach, butter lettuce). Lightly salt and pepper the greens.
- Arrange the greens on a large platter or individual plates.
- Drizzle half of the avocado dressing over the greens.
- Slice 2 large tomatoes into thick wedges, or halve smaller tomatoes. Arrange tomatoes over the greens, larger slices at the bottom.
- Arrange the cooked bacon strips on top of the tomatoes.
- Drizzle the remaining avocado dressing over the bacon. Add additional salt and pepper to taste.
