- In a large bowl, gently combine 1.5 lbs ground beef, 1/2 lb ground pork, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper, 1/4 cup bread crumbs, 1 large egg, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, mixing until just combined.
