How to Make Bacon Wrapped Beef Patties
- Preheat your broiler.
- In a medium bowl, lightly beat 2 large eggs. Add 1/2 cup crushed saltines, 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
- Add 1 pound ground beef to the bowl and gently mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Shape the mixture into six equal-sized patties (about 3/4 inch thick).
- Wrap each patty with 2-3 slices of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard.
- Place the bacon-wrapped patties on a broiler pan lined with foil. Broil 3-4 inches from the heat for 6 minutes.
