How to Make Baked Eggs With Ham And Chives
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Butter each ramekin or custard cup.
- Place 2 tablespoons of diced ham in the bottom of each ramekin.
- Crack 2 large eggs gently into each ramekin.
- Add 1 tablespoon of heavy cream to each ramekin.
- Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of chopped chives, salt, pepper, and any optional fresh herbs (parsley, chervil, or tarragon).
- Place ramekins in a baking dish or roasting pan.
- Carefully pour enough warm water into the baking dish to come halfway up the sides of the ramekins (creating a water bath).
