How to Make Baked Ham Loaf

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 7 1/2- by 3 1/2- by 2-inch loaf pan or four 6-ounce custard cups. Generously grease with cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and milk.
  4. Add the ground ham, breadcrumbs, onion, green pepper, salt, and pepper to the wet ingredients.
  5. Gently mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan or custard cups.
  7. Bake for 60 minutes for the loaf pan or 40 minutes for individual custard cups, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before unmolding.
  9. Carefully unmold the ham loaf onto a serving platter. If using custard cups, gently invert each onto individual plates.
  10. Slice the loaf into four servings and serve warm.
