  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) melted butter
  • Stove Top Stuffing Mix
  • Cream Of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

How to Make Baked Stuffed Pork Chops

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season 6 pork chops (about 1 inch thick) with salt and pepper.
  3. Brown pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side, until lightly golden.
  4. Remove pork chops from skillet and set aside.
  5. In a medium bowl, prepare 1 (6 ounce) box of stuffing mix according to package directions, using 1 1/2 cups of boiling water and 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) of melted butter.
  6. Let the stuffing sit for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork.
  7. Stir in 1/2 cup of chicken broth and 1/4 cup of sour cream until well combined.
  8. Pour half of the stuffing mixture into the bottom of the skillet.
