  • Orange Juice
  • Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • Dried Rosemary

How to Make Apple Stuffed Pork Loin Chops

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with vegetable oil cooking spray.
  3. Trim all visible fat from the pork chops.
  4. Cut each pork chop in half horizontally to create thinner, more evenly cooking chops.
  5. Carefully cut a pocket into the side of each pork chop half, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  6. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the following ingredients: 1 medium apple (peeled, cored, and diced), 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1/4 cup dried cranberries, 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon sage, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, and 1/4 cup chicken broth.
  7. Stuff approximately 1/3 cup of the apple mixture into each pork chop pocket.
  8. Arrange the stuffed pork chops in the prepared baking pan.
  9. Sprinkle generously with 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped.
