- 2 large eggs
- 15 oz (425g) container of ricotta cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Parmesan Cheese
- Ziti Pasta
- Pasta Sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

How to Make Baked Ziti With Spinach And Cheese
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook 10 oz (280g) package of spinach according to package directions. Drain thoroughly in a colander, then let cool slightly. Squeeze out as much excess water as possible.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked spinach with 2 large eggs, 15 oz (425g) ricotta cheese, 1 cup (200g) grated Parmesan cheese, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Mix well and set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, combine 1 lb (450g) cooked ziti pasta, 2 cups (475ml) your favorite marinara sauce, and 1 teaspoon dried oregano. Mix well.
- Lightly grease a 13x9 inch baking dish.
- Pour half of the ziti mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Layer half of the spinach and ricotta mixture evenly over the ziti.
- Top with the remaining ziti mixture and the remaining spinach and ricotta mixture.
- Sprinkle 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through, and the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
