How to Make Barbecued Pork Tenderloin

  1. In a large zip-top plastic bag, combine soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Add the pork tenderloin to the bag.
  3. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 to 12 hours, turning occasionally.
  4. Remove pork from bag; discard marinade.
  5. Prepare grill for medium-high heat (one side medium, one side high).
  6. In a small bowl, combine ground coffee, paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  7. Rub the dry rub mixture all over the pork tenderloin.
  8. Let the pork stand at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  9. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup BBQ sauce and 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar. Reserve 2 tablespoons of this mixture.
  10. Lightly spray the grill rack with cooking spray.
  11. Place pork on the hot side of the grill. Grill for 3 minutes, turning to sear all sides.
  12. Move pork to the medium-heat side of the grill.
  13. Grill for 15 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with 3 tablespoons of the BBQ sauce mixture.
  14. Continue grilling for 5 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers 160°F, turning occasionally and basting.
  15. Remove pork from grill and place on a platter.
  16. Brush the reserved 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce mixture over the pork.
  17. Cover loosely with foil and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
