  • 1 pound gnocchi
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 cup thinly sliced leeks
  • Unsalted Butter
  • All Purpose Flour
  • Skim Milk
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Cooked Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • Baby Spinach Leaves

How to Make A Very Special Gnocchi

  1. Cook 1 pound of gnocchi according to package directions. Set aside.
  2. Cook 4 slices of bacon until crisp. Remove bacon from pan, crumble, and set aside, reserving 2 tablespoons of bacon fat.
  3. Sauté 1 cup of thinly sliced leeks in the reserved bacon fat until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a medium saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
