- 1 pound gnocchi
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 cup thinly sliced leeks

- Skim Milk

How to Make A Very Special Gnocchi
- Cook 1 pound of gnocchi according to package directions. Set aside.
- Cook 4 slices of bacon until crisp. Remove bacon from pan, crumble, and set aside, reserving 2 tablespoons of bacon fat.
- Sauté 1 cup of thinly sliced leeks in the reserved bacon fat until softened, about 5 minutes.
- In a medium saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Whisk in 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour until smooth.
