How to Make Aloha Chicken Wings

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut 2 lbs of chicken wings into drumettes and flats; discard wingtips.
  3. Place wings in a large resealable plastic bag.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together: 1 cup pineapple preserves, 1/4 cup dry sherry, 1/2 cup orange juice concentrate, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup packed brown sugar, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 2 cloves minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger.
  5. Pour marinade over wings in the bag, seal, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
  6. Remove wings from marinade; reserve marinade.
